Our Fees
Silkstone Clinic is a mixed billing practice. Most consultations are time-based and will incur private fees for patients who are not eligible under the bulk-billing criteria. Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, credit card or EFTPOS.
We are still able to Bulk Bill eligible patient groups for most of the consultation types:
- Children under 16 years of age
- DVA Gold Card holders
- Health Care Card holders
- Pensioners and health card holders are bulk-billed on weekday visits
- Selected doctors bulk bill children less than 16 years of age.
Consultations (8:30am- 5:00pm)
After 5:00pm, Weekends & Public holidays
- Immunisation/Vaccines
- Drive Medical Assessment (age 75 or more)
- IV medicine management
- Travel Medicine
- Procedures

Reminder System
Silkstone Doctors is committed to preventative healthcare. That’s why we have a recall and reminder system for routine screening and care plans. You may occasionally receive a text message, phone call or letter from the practice staff requesting that you make an appointment.

We take the privacy and security of your information seriously. Your medical record is a confidential document, and our clinic is equipped to protect that information. Our stringent practice policy means we always maintain the security of personal health data and ensure that it is only available to authorised staff.
